Sen. Ben Sasse lashed out at Donald Trump on Twitter Friday for his comments Thursday backing the Obamacare individual mandate.

During the CNN Republican town hall Thursday in Columbia, S.C., Trump said that — while he would repeal the Affordable Care Act because it is a "disaster" — he supported the individual mandate.
"I like the mandate," the developer told host Anderson Cooper. "Here's where I'm a little bit different. I don't want people dying on the streets."
He did not specify how the mandate would play into any healthcare plan he would develop as president, nor did he outline what programs would replace Obamacare.
Trump did support health savings accounts and allowing Americans to buy insurance across state lines.
"You have to get rid of the lines," Trump said. "You have to have competition."
