Rep. Pompeo: 'Scores and Scores' of Benghazi Documents Not Yet Seen

Congress still has not seen "scores and scores of documents" related to the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, because Hillary Clinton worked to keep her emails and documents away from committees investigating the incident that killed four Americans, Rep. Mike Pompeo said Monday.

"We don't know the contents of them," the California Republican told Fox News' "America's Newsroom" program about Clinton's missing emails. "We can be pretty sure they weren't just about yoga and schedules."

As the House Select Committee on Benghazi did not get hold of the emails from the time Clinton was secretary of state until it had tried several times, it would not surprise him if there are documents Washington lawmakers have not seen when it comes to the attacks.

He also accused the FBI, which said it would not recommend criminal charges against Clinton, of failing to spend "serious time" on the investigation.

Pompeo said it is also concerning the FBI has not been able to get hold of the 13 BlackBerries and other devices Clinton used, including two that were smashed with a hammer, which to him "looks like intent."

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has planned a hearing for Tuesday concerning Clinton's private email server, and has subpoenaed several people, including Bryan Pagliano, who has been granted immunity for his testimony. Pompeo, a member of the committee, said Pagliano's testimony is crucial for learning more about Clinton's emails.
