Police are investigating after someone threw a large rock through a glass door at Bernie Sanders' Seattle presidential campaign headquarters.
Sanders' state field director, Shaun Scott, said staffers do not know who used the rock to break the glass in the door Friday night. No one was hurt in the vandalism incident, and campaign workers swept up the pieces and patched the door with plywood.
"This is not going to be something that deters us, that makes us feel less bold and pushing for the changes that we need to see in our democracy," he said.
Sanders was in Tacoma last week for a campaign event that drew thousands of supporters.
The Washington state presidential primary is less than three weeks away, March 10.
