Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., holds a 13-point lead over former Vice President Joe Biden among primary voters, according to a Fox News poll released Thursday.

It is the first time Sanders holds a lead over Biden in the national poll and continues on his wave of success ahead of the Nevada caucuses. Sanders is currently in the driver's seat and has built out a clear national lead ahead of the Super Tuesday primaries March 3.

He is leading in the vast majority of polls, including The Washington Post-ABC News poll (32%), the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll (27%) and the NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist College poll (31%).

A victory in Nevada meant Sanders either tied or won every single primary so far.

In the Fox poll, Sanders has gained 8 percentage points since January in the national race, while Biden dropped eight percentage points to second with 18%.

Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg sits at 16% in third place, up six points, and former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg is fourth with 12%.

The poll, conducted Sunday through Wednesday, includes interviews with 1,000 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide.
