A campaign official from Sen. Bernie Sanders' 2016 campaign agreed that the Democratic establishment is trying to block the Vermont senator's campaign once again after The Des Moines Register/CNN final Iowa poll was pulled abruptly Saturday night.

"I'm glad they're exposing it early," Tezlyn Figaro, the director of social justice for Sanders' first presidential campaign, told Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "A lot of people are saying they are crying conspiracy. Yeah, when you have watched someone get completely screwed out of something, there are just some trust factors."

Her comments came after show host Steve Doocy noted that there are many supporters saying the decision to pull the poll was a way for the establishment to block Sanders' victory and asked her if "they are going to do it to him again," leading President Donald Trump to tweet Doocy's question after the interview.

Figaro said they are worried about voter suppression from the establishment, but also voter depression.

"You feel like the poll was going to say Bernie was way ahead...the establishment doesn't like Bernie Sanders because they think he can win," Doocy said.

"Absolutely correct," she responded. "Why not put it out anyway...if it was favorable to their candidate, which was Joe Biden, I think they would have released it. This is just once again the games that are played. This time I think people are wide awake (and) they can see it for what it is."

Doocy also noted that there is a theory that Trump's impeachment trial was timed to keep Sanders, and Sens. Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren, and Michael Bennet out of Iowa as the caucuses approached.

"Well if they did, if that was their plan, it was an epic fail," said Figaro, noting that it pushed passionate Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, onto the trail for Sanders.
