Former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas, is planning a solo trip outside of Texas as he mulls a 2020 White House bid, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

The trip would start in El Paso, Texas, but would bypass Iowa and other early voting states, the Journal reported. He might document the trip — which would include community college campus stops — on social media, the news outlet reported. There will not be any formal decision on a run until at least February, the Journal reported.

The pool of possible Democratic candidates in 2020 also includes Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Sens. Cory Booker D-N.J., Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio.
