A portion of the southern border wall in California fell over due to high winds.

CNN reported it landed on trees on the Mexican side of the border on Wednesday.

The section that gave way had been set in a new concrete foundation in Calexico, California, Carlos Pitones of the Customs and Border Protection said.  The concrete had not cured yet on the wall panels.

Winds were gusting as high as 37 miles per hour on Wednesday, the news network reported. The metal panels can be seen leaning against trees adjacent to a Mexicali, Mexico, street in a video posted by KYMA -TV.

CNN noted that President Donald Trump has sought to pull hundreds of millions of dollars from several government accounts as he looks to build 450 miles of barriers along the southern border.
