Paula Broadwell, whose affair with ex-CIA director David Petraeus led to his resignation last year, says she feels bad about the whole thing.
"I have remorse for the harm that this has caused, the sadness it has caused my family and other families," Broadwell told WSOC TV, Charlotte's ABC affiliate.

Broadwell said in her first TV interview since the scandal broke that she is not wallowing in history. "I’m not focused on the past," she stated.
"It was a devastating period for our family. We still have some healing to do. We're very focused on how we can continue to contribute and use this for the greater good to do something good in the next chapter."
And Broadwell, 40, says she feels fortunate, too. "I'm very blessed. Blessed with an awesome family, a wonderful community that's been a great part of my rehabilitation, if you will," she said. "Even when you've made mistakes in life, you can still contribute and pick up the stuff and move on."
Broadwell now assists veterans charities, according to WSOC TV.
