Former President Donald Trump said his signature "giant rallies" will return soon.
Trump, who in November officially kicked off his 2024 presidential campaign, mainly has been issuing statements through his Truth Social platform and doing select interviews since his announcement.
"Making a big political speech today at TRUMP DORAL, in Miami," Trump posted Thursday morning on Truth Social. "The Fake News says I am not campaigning very hard. I say they are stupid and corrupt, with the Election still a long time away.
"But do not fear, MANY GIANT RALLIES and other events coming up soon. It will all be wild and exciting. We will save our Country from DOOM and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
Politico reported last week that Trump is expected to hold his first public campaign event of the new year this month in Columbia, South Carolina.
Aides to Trump said the event, a first step into a more public phase of his run for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, will not be a rally. Instead, it will be a more "intimate" affair.
Trump has begun to present policies that he promises to implement if he returns to the White House.
The New York Post reported Wednesday that Trump vowed to ban Chinese nationals from buying farmland or owning telecommunications, energy, technology, and medical supplies companies in the U.S.
