President Donald Trump's approval rating hit 46 percent in a daily tracking poll released Thursday — his best mark by the pollster in over a month.

The Rasmussen Reports survey also showed 53 percent disapproved of Trump's job performance.

The Rasmussen results come a day after two other polls showed less positive results: a Gallup survey found Trump's approval at 38 percent, and disapproval at 56 percent; an Economist/YouGov poll showed approval at 43 percent, and disapproval at 53 percent.

The president hailed the Rasmussen results.

The Rasmussen poll also finds that 29 percent of likely voters say they “strongly approve” of Trump's job performance as president, while 44 percent say they “strongly disapprove.”

Trump's approval rating in the Rasmussen poll has risen six points from its recent low of 40 percent on Dec. 15, and matched the rating he last won on Nov. 13.

The poll's margin of error is plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
