President Donald Trump's legal team has received a list of questions from Russia special counsel Robert Mueller as investigators seek an interview with the president, The New York Times reported Saturday.
The Times cited "two people close to the White House," saying that Mueller put forth the questions "as a start" in hopes of asking Trump follow-up queries in an interview.
Trump, after apparently receiving the questions, then slammed the Russia investigation as a "witch hunt" in a series of posts on Twitter.
