President Donald Trump has again attacked the “Squad,” a group of Democratic congresswomen, who he criticized as “young, inexperienced, and not very smart.”

Trump, whose previous attack on the four non-white legislators was widely criticized as racist, tweeted on Monday: “The ‘Squad’ is a very Racist group of troublemakers who are young, inexperienced, and not very smart. They are pulling the once great Democrat Party far left, and were against humanitarian aid at the Border...And are now against ICE and Homeland Security. So bad for our Country!”

Trump previously told the group, without mentioning them by name, to “go back,” after claiming that they “originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe,” despite three of the four having been born in the United States.

Last week, Trump supporters at a rally in North Carolina began chanting “send her back,” after Trump criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in Somalia, which Trump eventually said he was “not happy” with.
