The U.S. Energy Department said on Monday it is postponing the implementation of three mandates by the administration of President Joe Biden on energy efficiency for home appliances.

The efficiency standards being postponed by the administration of President Donald Trump are on walk-in coolers and freezers, instantaneous water heaters fueled by gas, and test procedures for central air conditioners and heat pumps.
