Rep. Frederica Wilson's feud with White House Chief of Staff John Kelly isn't yet over, as he has not apologized for what he'd said about her during their standoff over President Donald Trump's phone call to the widow of Green Beret Sgt. La David Johnson, one of four who were killed in action in Niger last month.

Wilson, D-Florida, tweeted Saturday that Kelly lied about her, and owed the nation an apology about what he'd said because "when he lied about me, he lied to the American people."

Kelly, while speaking about Johnson's death during a White House press briefing, accused Wilson of patting herself on the back for securing the funding for a new FBI building in Florida, which she denied.

He also said he was "stunned" that Wilson, as a member of Congress, "listened in" on a call between Trump and Johnson's widow, Myeshia Johnson. Wilson is a friend of the Johnson family, and was riding in a limousine with Mrs. Johnson and others on the way to claim the slain Green Beret's body at a local airport.

Wilson has been demanding an apology since last month, commenting that Kelly is a "puppet of the president."
