George Conway continued his Twitter criticism of President Donald Trump Monday, including retweeting a former CNN host's strongly worded defense of his behavior after the president's son, Eric, accused the attorney of disrespecting his wife, presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway.
The back-and-forth Twitter tiff began after Conway accused the president of obstructing justice after Trump sent a tweet encouraging ally Roger Stone to stand his ground against special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
This led many, including Conway, to accuse Trump of obstruction of justice and witness tampering, with the attorney posting a tweet referring to constitutional statutes for obstruction of justice and witness tampering.
This, in turn, led Trump's son, Eric to slam Conway for his "utter disrespect" to wife Kellyanne.
Conway didn't directly respond, but retweeted a message from the former CNN host, Reza Aslan, who tweeted a slam against the president about allegations of an affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels: "Wait. Did I miss something? Did George Conway pay money to have sex with a porn star right after his wife gave birth?"
The retweet was noted by Yashar Ali, a Huffington Post contributor.
Conway also retweeted other attacks against the tweet from Trump's son, including one from CNN legal analyst Renato Mariotti, who asked him how "noting that your father engaged in witness tampering today disrespect Kellyanne Conway?"
In addition, early Tuesday, Conway retweeted a post from The Washington Post that examined whether Trump obstructed justice with his Stone tweet.
