President Donald Trump is polling about the same with Republican women as he was two years ago when he won the 2016 election, one pollster said Friday.

During an interview with Hill.TV, Morning Consult editor Anna Yukhananov revealed the new data.

"When Trump was elected, something like 53 percent of Republican women viewed him very favorably, and those numbers are pretty much the same now," Yukhananov said.

"[There's] been a lot of things happening in that time. I just don't really see the vote changing even if they don't love everything he says."

A recent American University and Benenson Strategy Group survey cited by Hill.TV found that 55 percent of Republican women said they like Trump and agree with him on important issues.

Trump already has committed to running for re-election in 2020. It was reported this week that his campaign has established three offices — one at Trump Tower in New York City, one in the Washington, D.C. headquarters of the Republican National Committee, and one in Rosslyn, Virginia.

The results of a Harvard/Harris poll released this week showed that Trump has an approval rating of 46 percent.
