Hillary Clinton's former IT aide Bryan Pagliano invoked his Fifth Amendment right more than 125 times when he was questioned about his role in Clinton's email scandal Wednesday.

According to LawNewz.com, Pagliano was deposed as part of a Judicial Watch lawsuit.

Pagliano was originally scheduled to testify earlier this month, but he declined to testify under the premise of not incriminating himself. Judicial Watch announced Monday it had come to an agreement with the former State Department IT worker to be questioned this week

It's believed that Pagliano set up and maintained Clinton's private email system during her time as secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.

Fox News reports that during Wednesday's 90-minute session, Pagliano read the same prepared statement off an index card to every question, declining to answer each one.

"It was a sad day for government transparency," a Judicial Watch told Fox News.
