Huffington: Hillary Clinton ‘Obviously Running’ for President

Hillary Clinton is clearly running for president in 2016, Huffington Post editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington said, but she’s overworking herself and needs to rest.

Appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” Huffington said the former secretary of state should have taken more time off before making two speeches this week.

"What I was hoping is that she would have taken more time to become — what she called herself — 'untired,'" Huffington said.

Clinton said that when she left the State Department she planned to sleep in and recharge her batteries.

Huffington fears that Clinton is sending women a bad message; that the only way they can succeed is by driving themselves into the ground.

“After all, she collapsed. She had a concussion," said the publisher.

Fellow panelist George Will disagreed with an assertion made earlier in the week by U.S. Rep. Steny Hoyer of Maryland that a run by Clinton would clear the Democratic field.

“Heavens, no,” Will said, noting that Clinton is the prohibitive favorite by all pundits who discuss presidential politics.

“So the question is, when’s the last time a prohibitive favorite for the Democratic nomination lost it?” Will quipped. “You have to go back four years to 2008 when she lost.”
