The House of Representatives will vote Friday on three bills that will seek to stop the Iran nuclear deal after Senate Democrats blocked a move by Republicans Thursday to force a vote on the accord.

One measure would declare that President Barack Obama has not complied with the Iran Nuclear Review Act, which Republicans say would have required him to present the full deal — including any side agreements — to Congress.

The second vote would be on whether to approve or reject the accord with Tehran, while the third would seek suspend the president's right to waive sanctions against Iran.

The Senate has no plans to vote on similar legislation. Democrats in the chamber blocked a GOP effort to advance the bill to a final vote.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said after the vote that the chamber would seek to try again next week. Congress has until Sept. 17 to vote on the deal.
