Vice Adm. John Miller: ISIS Is Adaptive, But We're More Adaptive

The Islamic State group (ISIS) is adaptive to the airstrikes U.S. forces are carrying out, but America is even more so, says Vice Adm. John Miller, commander of the Navy’s Fifth Fleet.

"They're an adaptive force, and we've seen them adapt to the airstrikes that we're doing," Miller said Sunday on ABC's "This Week."  "But really bad news for them: We're the most adaptive force in the world. And so as they adapt, we adapt."

Miller admitted that airstrikes based from his fleet have not halted ISIS, "but there's been progress being made."

He said he isn't sure what the campaign will look like in next six months or a year because it will continue to adapt over time.
