Roger Stone associate and author Jerome Corsi revealed in a new interview he expects to be charged with a crime stemming from the Russia investigation.
Corsi told ABC News, after several sessions of interviews with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators and one round in front of the grand jury impaneled for the probe, he was told to wait for charges to be filed against him.
"I don't know what they're going to charge me with," Corsi said. "I think my only crime was that I support Donald Trump. That's my crime, and now I'm going to go to prison for the rest of my life for cooperating with them."
Corsi worked as the Washington, D.C. bureau chief of InfoWars until this year. He has also written several books.
His most recent book, "Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump," is a New York Times bestseller.
Corsi has ties to Stone, a political consultant who has been questioned in Mueller's probe in regards to contacts he might have had with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange through a middle man during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Stone denied having communication with Assange, but several people in his orbit — Corsi included — have been questioned.
ABC reported Corsi is becoming one of the main players in Mueller's investigation, which began in May 2017 over allegations the Trump campaign might have had improper ties to Russia.
Corsi called the experience of dealing with Mueller's team "a horror show" and "a nightmare," saying the investigation "is an inquisition worthy of the KGB or the Gestapo. I feel like I've been through an interrogation session in North Korea in the Korean war."
Corsi later addressed the situation on his YouTube show that aired Monday afternoon.
"I've been with the Mueller investigation for two months now," he said. "I got served a subpoena on Aug. 28 at my home, two FBI agents showed up unannounced. We began a series of discussions with them that have gone on for two months.
"At the end of that two months, even though I did everything I could to cooperate, the entire negotiation and discussions have just blown up. And now I fully anticipate that the next few days I will be indicted by Mueller for some form or other of giving false information to the special counsel or to . . . the other grand jury or however they want to do the indictment. I'm going to be criminally charged."
