Conservative author Jerome Corsi is alleging in a new lawsuit filed against special counsel Robert Mueller that he has been the target of illegal surveillance for years, potentially as far back as 2004, and Mueller's team is like a pack of dogs waiting to pounce on him.
Corsi was on Fox Business on Monday evening and went into more detail about the lawsuit he filed over the weekend.
"They are telling my attorneys they have the contents of [my] phone calls," Corsi told "Trish Regan Primetime." "They won't show them to me. I think right now, this program is under surveillance.
"The prosecutors are listening tonight to see if I say anything that they can use to somehow concoct a perjury charge on me, because they are vicious dogs, and they are after putting me away for the rest of my life – 72 years old, they want to send me away to prison at Christmas time. That's what they're after."
The author of several books, including "Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump," Corsi said his lawsuit "fights back" against Mueller and his team.
"This lawsuit fights back. I want to call them out for leaking. I want to call them out for how much surveillance have I been on. Have I been under surveillance since 2004 when I wrote 'Unfit for Command' with John O'Neill?" he said. "I want to know how long I have been under surveillance and by what agencies. This is a nightmare, Trish."
