Actor DiCaprio to Play Teddy Roosevelt in Scorsese Film

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is again teaming up with director Martin Scorsese to tell the story of President Teddy Roosevelt's life in an upcoming film, Deadline reported Tuesday.

The outlet noted DiCaprio was drawn to Roosevelt's legacy in conservation; he is credited with creating reserves, preserves, national parks, and forests.

The drama will be written by Scott Bloom for Paramount, Deadline reported.

DiCaprio and Scorsese first collaborated on "Gangs of New York" in 2002, before working together on "The Aviator," "Shutter Island," "The Departed," and "The Wolf of Wall Street."
