Conservative talk show host Bill O'Reilly urged Republicans to come up with some "smart solutions" to the nation's immigration and other problems or risk dealing with Hillary Clinton when she's elected president in 2016.
The Fox News commentator, responding Thursday to an email from a woman named Nettie to his show "The O'Reilly Factor," criticized her view that the Republican-controlled House should make no concessions on anything to the Obama administration or the Democrats, the
Huffington Post reported.

"When Hillary Clinton is elected president in 2016, will you say the same thing, Nettie?" O'Reilly said, as the words "Immigration Battle" were projected behind him.
"Because that's what's gonna happen if the GOP does not begin to put forth smart solutions to the country's problems."
O'Reilly also criticized another email from a viewer called Jim, who suggested that immigration reform would not be needed if the federal government would enforce the laws already on the books.
"So that means federal agents will begin forcibly rounding up millions of illegal people, entering their homes and removing men, women and children, taking them to holding pens where they will be awaiting deportation. Is that your vision, Jim? Because that's what enforcing existing laws would mean," O'Reilly said.
O'Reilly has declared his support for the Senate's immigration bill, which provides a pathway for citizenship to immigrants living in the United States illegally while at the same beefing up security along the border with Mexico.

"For years I've called for a more secure southern border, you know that," O'Reilly said in June. "And now it looks like the secure border is in reach. At least somewhat. So I hope this bill does become law."
