Anti-Islamist activist Pamela Geller says the fury over the arrest of a Muslim student, whose homemade clock was mistaken for a bomb, flies in the face of America’s terror-fighting credo, "If You See Something, Say Something."
"If you see something and you say something, then you're a racist, Islamophobic-acting Muslim bigot," Geller said Friday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on

Ninth-grader Ahmed Mohamed was led off in handcuffs from his Dallas-area school after being accused of making a hoax bomb when a school staffer got spooked by the device.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations said the case serves as an example of the climate of hate and fear that surrounds the Muslim religion. Mohamed, 14, was extended a personal invitation from President Barack Obama
to visit the White House.
"It's interesting to me that the president of the United States has invited this young man to the White House," Geller said.
"He hasn't had the two American heroes who took down a jihadi on a French train but he's invited this young schoolkid. He's sending a message to everyone that wants to say something or is thinking something.
She also said Mohamed’s device looked nothing like a timepiece.
"If that looks like a clock, then I'm the Pope, ok? It looks like every movie bomb you've ever seen," Geller said.
"These people are being vilified for trying to protect the schools.... They did not know what they were looking at and they were taking no chances."
Geller was the organizer of a Texas event in early May that held a "Draw the Prophet Muhammad" contest. Two self-described jihadists tried to enter the building in which the contest was being held, but they were shot dead by a security guard after they opened fire at him.
