Talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres and Sean Hayes are hosting a star-studded fundraiser for South Bend, Indiana mayor and 2020 Democratic presidential contender Pete Buttigieg on July 25 in Los Angeles, NBC News reports.
Buttigieg is openly gay and DeGeneres and Hayes are LGTBQ entertainers.
The event is being held at the home of NBCUniversal executive Kevin MacLellan and his husband, Brian Curran.
Other celebrities scheduled to be in attendance include DeGeneres' wife Portia de Rossi, Jason Bateman, and Chelsea Handler. Tickets for the event range from $250 to $8,200.
Buttigieg is also hosting events titled, "Lunch with Mayor Pete" and "A Conversation with Mayor Pete."
Buttigieg's presidential campaign has been boosted by donations from lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, and queers. During the second quarter, he hauled in nearly $25 million. A Sunday poll by NBC/Wall Street Journal showed him in fifth behind: Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
