Fifty-six percent of voters want to support their right to bear arms when Hollywood stars push for gun control, a new Zogby Analytics poll reveals.
The survey also shows 28 percent want to oppose the Second Amendment when celebrities speak out for stricter gun laws.
Here is how the poll breaks down:
- 65 percent of millennials, ages 18-24, support the right to bear arms when stars push for stronger guns law, compared to 26 percent who oppose it.
- 48 percent of all those polled approve of President Donald Trump's job performance, while 50 percent do not.
- 50 percent of millennials approve of the job Trump is doing, compared to 48 percent who oppose it.
The poll, conducted Feb. 27-28, surveyed 869 likely voters in the U.S. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.3 percent.
