Eighty-two percent of likely voters in battleground states say President Joe Biden's "state of health and his mental fitness" are his biggest "weak point," according to a new poll by McLaughlin & Associates.

Here are how the poll results break down:

  • 79% said Biden's handling of illegal immigration and his open border policy are a weak point for him.
  • 76% said Biden's handling of inflation and rising prices are a weak point.
  • 75% said Biden has yet to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon or from supporting terrorism, which are weak points for the president.
  • 74% said Biden's weak leadership is a weak point.
  • 73% say Biden and his family's business ties with China are a weak point.
  • 42% say they favor former President Donald Trump in the general election.
  • 34% say they favor Biden.
  • 11% say they favor Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
  • 2% say they back Cornel West.
  • 1% say they support Jill Stein.
  • 10% say they are undecided.

The poll was conducted Jan. 16-21. A margin of error was not provided.

A special counsel's report, released Thursday on the investigation of Biden's possession of classified documents described the 81-year-old Democrat's memory as "hazy," "fuzzy," "faulty," "poor" and having "significant limitations." It noted that Biden could not recall defining milestones in his own life, according to The Associated Press.
