Trump supporters have their own dating websites, but the language used by one has sparked up controversy, according to a report in the Wisconsin Gazette.
Trump.Dating, which launched the first week of February, only offers two options for users to describe their sexual orientation: straight male or straight female, and previously posted phrases like "deport liberals from your love life" and "find the America First partner of your dreams" on its site in bold.
Married people are welcome, though, as people can select their relationship status as "have a significant other," "happily married," and "unhappily married."
"This is the first modern, functional dating site designed by Trump supporters, for Trump supporters," founder and owner Sean McGrossier said. "Users can rest assured every person they are talking to is behind the president, with red, white and blue blood that flows for America each and every day. Spread the word about the launch of our new freedom-based dating site, and head on over today to find love through Trump on Trump.Dating."
The MAGA-oriented dating sites have become popular at a divisively political time, but the service is filling a gap as 71 percent of online daters consider differing politics a deal breaker in a relationship, according to a Tinder study published in August of last year.
Trump Dating costs $13.95 for a six-month plan, $17.95 for a three-month plan or $24.95 for a one-month plan. The other site, TrumpSingles.com, launched in June of 2016 and comes with a $19.95 price tag.
