Sen. Rand Paul says he will try this week to end federal funding for Planned Parenthood, The Boston Herald reports.

The Kentucky Republican's comments come as a second undercover video of a Planned Parenthood official discussing the selling of fetal tissue was released by the group Center for Medical Progress.

"This is about a baby, about selling baby parts," Paul said Tuesday on Boston Herald Radio. "I think even pro-choice people are aghast at this."

Story continues below audio.

"This is a baby with all of its parts formed," Paul said, adding that the woman in the first video released last week "is talking about her great, artful skill at preserving baby parts and only crushing the head and things like that. Some Republicans have been afraid of discussing this, I think it's time we get a bit more courage."

The Herald quoted one of Paul's GOP presidential rivals, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who agreed that Planned Parenthood should be defunded.

"I think Planned Parenthood is a cancer in this country and something the federal government should not have anything to do with," Santorum said.

"The woman is casually drinking wine and eating her salad while she talks about crushing the head to keep intact the heart, lungs, livers, and other organs,” Santorum said of the first video. "Why are you keeping intact organs if that is not a human being?"
