America's illegal immigration crisis is getting worse, and President Joe Biden is doing a poor job of handling it, according to majorities of voters in the latest Rasmussen Reports poll.
Only 14% of likely U.S. voters said the illegal immigration problem is improving under Biden, while 55% say it is getting worse, and 27% say the problem is staying the same.
A full 50% also give Biden a poor rating on his handling of the immigration crisis, while just 32% give Biden at least a good rating.
The issue of immigration will be important in this year's midterms elections, according to a large majority of likely U.S. voters (77%), including 50% saying it will be "very important," according to the poll.
Just 19% deny immigration will be a midterm election issue, findings that have changed only slightly in the poll since February.

Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1,000 likely U.S. voters April 6-7 and the results have a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
