Giuliani Calls for Immediate End to Mueller Investigation

A furious Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's lawyer, demanded Thursday night that Russia investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller be immediately ended.

In remarks to Fox News' Sean Hannity, Giuliani asserted the report by the Office of the Inspector General that criticized the FBI and Justice Department for its handling of the Hillary Clinton email probe proves a "very serious investigation has to be done of the FBI agents at the very top by FBI agents who are honest in order to prosecute them."

"The attention now should be focused on let's get a fair investigation of the people who corrupted that investigation have been engaged in the corrupt investigation from the beginning," Giuliani said.

"If you are not disgusted, and you don't demand the Justice Department begin this investigation . . . then I don't think we have justice anymore in this country."

Giuliani argued Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions "have a chance to redeem themselves," Giuliani said.

"That chance comes about tomorrow. It doesn't go beyond tomorrow.  Tomorrow, Mueller should be suspended and honest people should be brought in, impartial people to investigate these people like [anti-Trump FBI agent Peter] Strzok.

"Strzok should be in jail by the end of next week."

He also charged former FBI Director James Comey "created this atmosphere in the Justice Department. He was the reason Strzok and [FBI lawyer Lisa] Page was able to operate."

"I feel that this whole thing has made fools of all of us. I mean, they think we are idiots," Giuliani complained.
