Hillary Clinton says Georgia's Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams would have already been declared the winner if the election had been fair.

Her comments came Tuesday while speaking at the LBJ School of Public Affairs in Austin, Texas on Tuesday. Her remarks were reported by the Statesman newspaper.

"If [Abrams] had a fair election, she already would have won," Clinton said.

The race for Georgia governor remains undecided. Republican Brian Kemp has a slim lead over Abrams, who is bidding to become the first black woman in American history to be elected governor of a state.
