Stephen Bannon, the new presidential campaign manager for Donald Trump, is registered to vote in Florida with an address which has been revealed as an empty house where he does not live.

The Guardian reports the Florida home where Bannon has an active voter registration is not only vacant, but will soon be razed by developers planning a new real-estate project.

Bannon's registration to the empty Coconut Grove residence is an apparent breach of election laws, according to the newspaper.

Bannon once rented the home for his ex-wife, tea party activist Diane Clohesy, but did not live there.

The Guardian says Bannon also rented another house for Clohesy in Miami from 2013 to 2015 and had listed voter registration to that address but didn't live there either.

Bannon, Clohesy and Trump's campaign repeatedly declined to answer detailed questions about Bannon's voting arrangements, the newspaper reported.

Bannon recently took a leave from his post as chairman of the Breitbart News website to run the Trump campaign.
