House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La, will be interviewed on "60 Minutes" this Sunday for the first time since he was wounded by a gunman in June.
The announcement of the interview was made on "CBS This Morning" on Wednesday.
"On Sunday on 'Sixty Minutes,' he will talk for the first time since the tragedy," said CBS' Norah O'Donnell. "The House majority whip agreed to help us piece together what exactly happened on that day in June and his road to recovery."
Scalise and three other people were wounded during practice for a charity baseball game. The gunman was shot and later died.
