President Donald Trump, facing resistance, bad press, and protests of a potential U.K. visit, has vowed to postpone a trip until Prime Minister Theresa May can "fix" a "better reception," according to "The Sun."

"When I know I'm going to get a better reception, I'll come and not before," President Trump told May in a private conversation, per transcript leaked by "senior diplomats" to "The Sun."

Any trip to the U.K. has been postponed until next year as two million signed petition against a President Trump visit, according to the report.

"I haven't had great coverage out there lately, Theresa," Trump reportedly told May.

"Well, you know what the British press are like," May reportedly replied.

President Trump then allegedly called on May to "fix" the perceptions of him in the U.K.

"I still want to come, but I'm in no rush," he reportedly said. "So, if you can fix it for me, it would make things a lot easier."

"The Sun" report came before President Trump's Sunday morning tweets, ripping a "slanted" and "fraudulent press" in the U.S.
