President Donald Trump, speaking before a group of veterans at the White House Thursday morning, said a Robert Mueller-style investigation, "should never happen to another president again."

"No collusion, no obstruction," Trump told the veterans, drawing applause. "There never was, by the way, and there never will be. We do have to get to the bottom of these things...this hoax, it should never happen to another president again."

Immediately after Attorney General William Barr held a press conference explaining the Mueller report, he posted an image, inspired by the "Game of Thrones," to his Twitter page.

It declared "No collusion. No obstruction. For the haters and the radical left Democrats, game over."

Barr said Thursday that the special counsel found evidence on both sides of the question about whether Trump had obstructed justice, but did not have conclusive evidence that he'd committed a crime. Mueller left the determination up to the attorney general, and Barr and deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein concluded the evidence was not sufficient to establish a crime had taken place.
