President Donald Trump on Monday tried to sow doubts about a series of recent polls from major media outlets showing him lagging behind several Democratic candidates for president.

A poll from NBC News and The Wall Street Journal released Sunday had former Vice President Joe Biden ahead of Trump by nine points, Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., by seven points, and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., by five points. A Fox News poll in June showed Biden holding a 10-point advantage over Trump, while a Washington Post/ABC News poll from that same month showed Biden up by 10 points.

"Here we go with the Fake Polls," Trump tweeted on Monday. "Just like what happened with the Election against Crooked Hillary Clinton. ABC, NBC, CNN, New York Times, the Washington Post, they all got it wrong, on purpose. Suppression Polls so early? They will never learn!"

According to RealClearPolitics, Biden has beaten Trump in recent polls from Emerson College, Rasmussen, Quinnipiac University, The Hill and Politico. Warren outdid Trump in recent polls from Fox News, Quinnipiac, and Rasmussen, but Trump beat Warren in polls from Emerson and CNN. Sanders led Trump in every recent head-to-head matchup on RealClearPolitics except in a March/April poll from Rasmussen.
