National Security Adviser Susan Rice lied when she appeared on NBC's "Meet the Press" and claimed she did not mislead the American people in the talking points she gave after the 2012 Benghazi bombings, Donald Trump said Monday.
"It's a big lie. And I think now it's even a bigger lie, after everything that's been determined," the entertainment and real-estate billionaire told "Fox & Friends."
Rice told NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday she had no regrets about her explanation after the Benghazi attack, which she characterized as a spontaneous uprising in response to a video. Four Americans died in the bombings at the U.S. consulate, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Rice was U.S. ambassador to the United Nations at the time she made the original statements about the attack. She said the information she provided in 2012 was "the best information that we had at the time."
"The notion that somehow I, or anybody else in the administration, misled the American people is patently false. And I think that that's been amply demonstrated," Rice said Sunday.
Trump said it was "hard to believe" the administration of President Barack Obama would continue to defend their original explanation. He said it was even more difficult to understand how they could "get away with it."
"The level of arrogance and the level of lying is so incredible. Benghazi, unbelievably, is being taken off the front pages. It just has never resonated. But you look at the answers that she and other people are giving, and it's disgraceful," he said.
"It's a big, fat, juicy lie. And now she continues to say it, in spite of all of the evidence," Trump said.
