Members of a militia group in Libya posted a video of a pool party it had at the U.S. embassy in Tripoli.

The group posted a video on YouTube of a group of men taking turns diving into the pool from a balcony, The Washington Times reported. Some of the YouTube images were shown by CNN.

The U.S. government shuttered the embassy in July, and the Islamist militia group Dawn of Libya says that it has been in control of the embassy compound for a week.

The U.S. ambassador to Libya, Deborah Jones, sent out a tweet saying that the video shows what looks like the residential side of the embassy compound, The Associated Press reported, but said that the embassy "is now being safeguarded and has not been ransacked" according to "recent photos."

The Dawn of Libya militia group also said that it has taken control of the airport in Tripoli, forcing a rival militia out of the city.

It is now saying that diplomats can return to the city, since the fighting has died down, according to the AP.

The fledgling government in Libya admitted Monday that it has no control of the capital city, saying that armed militia groups have taken over.
