Limbaugh: Obama May Be Sabotaging Hillary

With rumors swirling that President Barack Obama's administration is behind the leak that exposed Hillary Clinton's email scandal, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that Obama could be worried that Clinton "will unravel" his legacy if elected president, adding that there is "racial" tension between the two.

"He could be worried that Hillary will unravel just to differentiate herself," Limbaugh said on his radio show. "But I think it's personal. I think there's a lot of dislike, it's racial, and it goes back to the '08 campaign. I think there is some bad blood between the Clinton and Obama families."

"It could be that he's worried that she will unravel. I think that's a concern he would have about anybody, but mostly Republican."

Limbaugh was referring to a story over the weekend that said Obama's senior adviser Valerie Jarrett first leaked the story about Clinton's use of a private email address and home email server during her time as secretary of state.

Limbaugh speculated that Obama could ultimately be behind the leak.

"Now, it could well be that he's afraid that Mrs. Clinton will go a different direction to differentiate herself from him," Limbaugh said.

"Maybe he can hope, he's worried that Hillary would do a better job than he's done and wouldn't want to have the next Democrat president end up looking better than he does. I think that's entirely possible. These are all wild guesses."

Limbaugh also commented on a report that the Obamas want to live in New York City at the conclusion of his presidential term, while keeping a place in Washington as well.

"He's gonna be there [in Washington] now and then, just to make sure that whoever the next president is doesn't unravel or doesn't try," Limbaugh said. "The minute somebody does, he's gonna call his buddies in the press, he's gonna be all over the media trying to stop it."

The email scandal is threatening to derail Clinton's apparent plans to run for president next year. She is the main potential contender on the left, and if she decided not to run, the race for the Democrat nomination would be wide open.

Clinton, however, still leads in every poll regarding the 2016 presidential election.
