The website that leaked former Secretary of State Colin Powell's emails has hacked another account, this time belonging to a White House staffer, apparently revealing Hillary Clinton's schedule and a purported image of Michelle Obama's passport.
The emails are not nearly as damaging as Powell's, though DC Leaks told the Daily Mail in an email "the leaked files show the security level of our government. If terrorists hack emails of White House Office staff and get such sensitive information we will see the fall of our country."
The emails include details of trips for Vice President Joe Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Democratic candidate for president Hillary Clinton. Details include the number of steps that Biden and Clinton would have to walk up and down, the movements of Clinton and her staff, their phone numbers, and her private plane's manifest, the Mail reports.
A picture of what is purported to be Michelle Obama's passport was also released. However, according to technology blog Gizmodo, "it looks super fake."
Among the problems with the passport are: Michelle Obama's picture is not fully inside the border, nor is there ample white space around and above her head, as the State Department's guidelines for passport photos require.
Additionally, the text appears inconsistent and the passport is set to expire only five years after it was issued, instead of the usual 10 years.
According to Politico, the staffer worked as an advance associate for the White House since April 2015, and as an event organizer for the Clinton campaign, and the emails may have come from a previously reported cyberattack targeting the personal emails of over two dozen of Clinton's campaign staff.
