Lawyer Adam Thompson: Technology Dooms Dad in Toddler's Death

Justin Ross Harris — charged with murder in the death of his 22-month-old son left in a hot car — was naïve if he believed he wouldn't be caught by technology, lawyer Adam Thompson says.

"It amazes me in this day and age how advanced technology is [and] everybody at this point should know that emails are going to be searched,'' Thompson told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"Cellphones are going to be searched, text messages, anything you do. Cameras in parking lots showing where you go and when. Even your cars and your phones are tracked [on] what routes you're driving.''

The Georgia father, who allegedly left his son in the family vehicle as he sexted as many as six women, had earlier researched suspicious information on the web, which will be used as evidence, authorities say.

"For him to think that his research of 'how to kill a baby,' 'how to survive in prison,' wouldn't be discovered is beyond me," said Thompson, a syndicated talk host and TV commentator.
