Andrew McCarthy: Classified FBI Files Prove Hillary Lied

Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy told Newsmax TV Thursday said the classified documents stemming from Hillary Clinton's FBI interview make the case that she didn't tell the truth.

"I don't know if it's the agent's notes that they got or the actual report, but it's so redacted that even the people who have access to it aren't able to get at it and a lot of people just can't read it because they don't have the security clearance necessary to get it," McCarthy said during an appearance on the "Steve Malzberg Show."

McCarthy was referring to the report from the interview the FBI conducted with Clinton about her email scandal, which was handed over to congress this week. The problem is that much of the information is so classified that lawmakers don't have the proper security clearances to read it.

"How on Earth could it have been harmless and no classified information involved? I think this really stinks," McCarthy said. "I've never heard of a case where the FBI interviews the main subject on Saturday and closes the case on Monday.

"That doesn't happen unless you already decided to close the case before you talk to her."

Regarding the Clinton Foundation's promise to cease accepting donations from corporations and foreign governments if Clinton wins the presidential election in November, McCarthy was equally as skeptical.

"If it's a bad idea for them to be taking foreign money, why don't they stop now? Why wait until Hillary's elected?" he asked.
