Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., told Newsmax TV on Friday that Attorney General William Barr is "missing in action" when it comes to investigating claims of election fraud, despite his comments earlier this week.
"I've been surprised by the lack of initiative here," Biggs told "John Bachman Now" on Friday. "I mean, what we saw [Thursday] coming out of Georgia, if that doesn't spark attention and action, an investigation, I don't know what will."
The congressman added, Barr "seems to be missing in action. I'm hearing it from my voters, they don't know what he's doing. We would like to just know, are you doing something?
"I mean, you can't come out and say, 'we have found no evidence of widespread fraud,'" as Barr did earlier this week, "and then you walk it back. How would you know that if you had begun an investigation and there's no indication whatsoever that they've looked into any of these claims, other than very dismissively, and I don't even know that they've done that."
