President Donald Trump has to put an end to his chronic axing of his Cabinet members and White House staffers or risk losing Republican control in Congress this November, Bill O'Reilly tells Newsmax TV.
"President Trump has to show that he is in command if he wants to win the House," O'Reilly, the bestselling author and host of "No Spin News," said to Newsmax's John Bachman.
"If he wants to move out some people, then move them out now. Because you've got to calm it all down."

O'Reilly's comments come in the wake of Trump's firing of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and reports that he is mulling the ouster of Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin.
Others who've been fired in the past year include former FBI Director James Comey, ex-U.S. Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and Preet Bharara, who served as U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. There have also been more than a dozen resignations.
"He's got to be the commander in chief, he's got to be in charge. He can't be firing de jour, okay?" O'Reilly told Bachman.
"So if he wants Sessions out of there, get him out of there. Because you're going to have to calm it down if want to keep the House in November, and I don't know if the president understands that right now."
That said, O'Reilly believes the booting of Tillerson and replacing him with CIA chief Mike Pompeo was a good move.
"Put Rex Tillerson aside, which I never thought was a good fit for Trump. Pompeo is an upgrade, he's better than Tillerson as secretary of state in my opinion," he said.
O'Reilly is the author of "Killing England: The Brutal Struggle for American Independence," written with Martin Dugard and published by Henry Holt and Co.
