The number of lies Brian Williams allegedly told during his years at NBC News guarantees he is history once his six-month suspension ends, says Joe Concha, a columnist for media watchdog Mediaite.com and host of Newsmax TV’s "The Daily Wrap."
"You can't put Humpty Dumpty back together in six months," Concha said Friday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.
"All that he had, 12 days ago, all of it — it's all gone, including his reputation."

NBC suspended Williams after his confession earlier this month that he had never been aboard a chopper felled by sniper fire in Iraq — a claim he had made for years.
Another disputed tale involves his reporting in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, in which he claimed he saw a body floating past his five-star hotel, faced roving gangs in the hotel stairwell and witnessed a suicide at the Superdome.
"The one that got him, and this came out today … the Berlin Wall. He said he was at the downfall. But it’s not so much the lie, it's who was the only reporter there at the time — [Williams’ predecessor in the NBC anchor chair] Tom Brokaw, who does not like Brian Williams.
"[Brokaw] always saw him as like the blow-dried guy, never got his hands dirty, he's getting the job because of politics or because he's a good looking guy.
"But the fact he said he was [at the fall of the Berlin Wall] when Tom was there, you bet that Tom Brokaw went to whoever he had to within NBC News … and says, you've got to get this guy out of here, now he's insulting me."
According to CBS Los Angeles, Williams, while speaking at a forum at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in 2008, was asked about the "wow" moment in his career.
"What was my wow … I’ve been so fortunate. I was at the Brandenburg Gate the night the wall came down," Williams responded, referring to was the demolition of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
CBS said there are now reports that he actually arrived the day after the Wall came down and that Brokaw was the only American anchorman to report live from the scene that day.
