Jerusalem Post's Glick: Kerry Trying to Make Israel Concede

Secretary of State John Kerry is trying to force Israel to make concessions to the Palestine Liberation Organization, says Caroline Glick, senior contributing editor of The Jerusalem Post.

"Kerry is so obsessed with trying to coerce Israel to make concessions that will endanger its very existence, but the Palestinian leadership, the PLO, are absolutely unwilling to agree to anything with Israel," Glick told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"So, the only way that something can happen is if the United States somehow or another seeks to force Israel into unilaterally surrendering to the PLO with no reciprocal concessions on the part of the PLO to Israel."

Glick said Kerry is "trying to buy time, get another year of negotiations or something like that, because what he's planning really is not something that either Israel or the PLO want.

"He's trying to get two unwilling parties to agree to something that neither of them have any interest in, and that's both considered to be bad for them, and so there's very good reason for concern, since he is so obsessed."
