Charles Hurt: 'Better Off With Saddam Hussein' Than ISIS

Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt says President Barack Obama has tipped his hand to the Islamic State too many times — letting the group in on his plans to take it on.

"He's been telling them all along everything that he plans to do," Hurt said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"Even before ISIS was as well known as it is now . . . even before he got elected, he was broadcasting to the world, if I get elected this will be how we do things, this will be our — I hate to call it, strategy.

"It's not even a strategy, it's a non-strategy . . . to disarm, demilitarize our military, and to basically vacate the world, and surprise, surprise, when you have a vacuum like this, evil people take over.

"We would've been better off with Saddam Hussein in power than these people."
