President Barack Obama is a war criminal, as is former President George W. Bush — for their military aggressions around the world, says anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, whose son was killed by enemy action during the Iraq War.
"Yes, of course [Obama] is," Sheehan said Tuesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.

"I don’t know if he’s a bigger one than George Bush, if they're equal, or if Bush was worse."
Sheehan became an outspoken anti-war protester after her son, U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed by enemy action in Iraq. He was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
In August, 2005, Sheenan famously constructed a makeshift camp outside Bush's Texas ranch to bring attention to his war record.
In some ways, Sheehan believes, Obama's record is worse.
"We have a Democratic president who is actually bombing more countries than Bush did," Sheehan said.
"Our history has shown that Democrats aren't much better when it comes to war than Republicans are and in some case they're worse."
She also believes Obama quickly got into the use of weaponry during his first term.
"There are some people on the so-called left who might say that we have to circle our wagons around the first African American president," she said.
"To me, that is racism in reverse because his policies are actually still the racist policies of empire. Three days after he was elected was his first drone bombing campaign.
"It didn't take him very long to become a presidential war criminal."
Sheehan said while the anti-war movement is not what it once was, "it’s not dead because there are some of us who have never left it."
Sheehan, author of the memoir,
"Peace Mom: A Mother's Journey Through Heartache to Activism," published by Atria Books, ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 2008.
